Puck Dumps 3/7/14

The Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament is currently on going, if you wanted to see a bunch of future NHL prospects.

The Top Line

The Sharks came back to defeat the Penguins last night, which is exactly how it works in nature. NBC, NHL.com, The Local Take #1, The Local Take #2

Boston 3, Washington 0 – Dustin Penner is meaningless.

Los Angeles 3, Winnipeg 1 – Nothing crazy happened here, because the Jets are boring.

Buffalo 3, Tampa Bay 1 – Credit Buffalo, because they can win without having any players on their team.

Colorado 4, Detroit 3 (OT) – Andre Benoit scored an overtime winner, thus confirming the lasting legend of Andre Benoit.

Chicago 6, Columbus 1 – Marian Gaborik was the glue that held the Blue Jackets together. Krazy Glue.

St. Louis 2, Nashville 1 – New acquisition Steve Ott has done nothing for the Blues. Bad trade.

Dallas 6, Vancouver 1 – Tyler Seguin got a hat trick, enjoyed a cocktail after the game (I assume)

Phoenix 5, Montreal 2 – In cae you were wondering, Radim Vrbata is just down in Phoenix, scoring goals.

Edmonton 3, New York Islanders 2 (OT) – If only the Islanders had another scorer.

San Jose 5, Pittsburgh 3 – The comeback was fueled by Brent Burns, which as a Wild fan, is pretty nuts.
