Puck Dumps 1/15/14

Just biding my time until the Stadium Series comes to Minnesota.

The Top Line

With the Penguins taking on the Capitals tonight, people are talking about Alex Ovechkin. Sure. NBC, Sports Illustrated

Toronto 4, Boston 3 – The Leafs are just going keep at this, I guess.

San Jose 2, Washington 1 (SO) – Alex Ovechkin wasn't enough this time. Barely worth a Top Line , I say. ASAS.

Tampa Bay 2, New York Rangers 1 – Ben Bishop is back! Too bad for teams with limited offense.

Philadelphia 4, Buffalo 3 – Get Steve Ott out of Buffalo

Florida 4, New York Islanders 2 – Only the Panthers could cool down the Islanders. It had to be this way.

New Jersey 4, Montreal 1 – Could this be Marty Brodeur's last time in Montreal? Probably not. He still has family there.

Colorado 3, Chicago 2 (OT) – The Avs won despite being heavily outshot, or as it's known in the league, they followed the "Minnesota plan"

Nashville 4, Calgary 2 – David Legwand with 3 assists. He's played for Nashville for 15 seasons. Give that man a medal.

St. Louis 2, Phoenix 1 – The Blues defense is very tight. JAroslav Halak only needed 20 saves.

Ottawa 3, Minnesota 0 – Kyle Turris had a goal and an assist, which somehow seems relevant to the previous game.

Dallas 5, Edmonton 2 – GARBUTT
