Puck Dumps 12/11/13

Life is hard enough without having to think of a joke on Wednesdays.

The Top Line

Nobody is on the same page today, but here are two sets of power ranks, Sports Illustrated, Fox

Buffalo 2, Ottawa 1 (SO) – Yes, this is the game people wanted to see more of. ASAS

Washington 6, Tampa Bay 5 (SO) – The Lightning were ahead 3-0 at one point, but then Ovechkin scored 4 goals and the game ended in a tie. I mean a shootout. ASAS

Columbus 5, New Jersey 4 – The stars were out in Ohio. Cam Atkinson and Damien Brunner each scored twice.

Los Angeles 6, Montreal 0 – Barry Melrose's revenge!

Florida 3, Detroit 2 (SO) – The Panthers have the Red Wings number, it seems.ASAS

Nashville 4, New York Rangers 1 – This game was actually the top headline on NBC. All about the brand.

St. Louis 2, Winnipeg 1 – Steen!

Chicago 6, Dallas 2 – Saad, Sharp and Roussel (for Dallas) all scored twice. Let someone else have a shot!.

Phoenix 3, Colorado 1 – Antoine Vermette also scored twice. Apparently everyone is scoring multiple goals.

Boston 2, Calgary 1 – This was all about Jarome Iginla. I don't think Calgary even minds losing the game.

Edmonton 5, Carolina 4 (OT) – Thank goodness for Jordan Eberle, wo actually won a game in overtime.

New York Islanders 3, San Jose 2 (SO) – For my money, the Islanders are still on an 11 game winless streak. ASAS
