Puck Dumps 10/7/13

I hope you survived that weekend. The first one in October is always tough.

The Top Line

After a mere three games, the Flyers have given Peter Laviolette the ax. BMR is always looking for writers, Lavy. ESPN, NBC, TSN, CBC, Fox, NHL.com, The Local Take

Carolina 2, Philadelphia 1 – It seems sort of crazy that the Flyers have even already played 3 games, doesn't it?

Anaheim 3, Winnipeg 2 – Teemu Selanne returned to Winnipeg. While everyone was paying attention to that, Corey Perry scored the game winner.

Vancouver 5, Calgary 4 (OT) – I continue to be amazed at how many goals the Flames are scoring. Maybe it's because they keep facing back up goalies. Quick! Name the Canucks backup goaltender!

Tweet of the Moment

I do enjoy that the Senators have to tell us which country their road trip is in. hockey is the best.
